To find equation of line in just few seconds
If (a, b) and (c, d) are given points then equation of line will be
x (b-d)-y (a-c)= bc-ad
Q.Suppose we have to find equation of line passing through (5, 4) and (4, 2)
Step:-Put the values in above relation
(4-2) x-y (5-4) =16-10
2x-y=6 is the required equation.
Similarly find equation of line passing through:-
2 (4,7) and (3,5) Answer will be 2x-y=1
3 (9,7) and (5,2) Answer will be 5x-4y=17
4 (10,5) and (18,9) Answer will be -4x+8y=0 or x=2y
